Colorado Virtual Immigration Consultation Clinic: Expanding Access to Immigration Legal Services Across Colorado

The Colorado Virtual Immigration Consultation Clinic (COVICC) is a statewide legal access initiative that connects immigrants with experienced immigration attorneys through affordable, virtual consultations.

By combining technology, centralized coordination, community partnerships, and private-sector legal expertise, COVICC expands access to trusted legal information for communities across Colorado.

The process to request a COVICC legal consultation is simple and confidential. Visit VirtualImmigrationHelp.org to get started.

THE CHALLENGE

Across Colorado, immigrants often face significant barriers to obtaining immigration legal assistance.

Limited Attorney Capacity - There are too few immigration attorneys available to meet demand, particularly outside major metropolitan areas.

High Cost - Reputable legal services can be expensive and simply out of reach for many immigrant families.

Long Wait Times - Many nonprofit legal service providers maintain lengthy waitlists, leaving individuals and families without timely access to legal guidance.

Geographic Barriers - For people living in rural communities, meeting with an immigration attorney can require hours of travel.

Misinformation and Fraud - When trusted legal resources are unavailable, people often turn to notarios, misinformation, or unqualified providers.

Communities needed a solution that could increase access quickly, efficiently, and at scale.
